This will be about the millionth time I've tried to start a blog or online presense of some kind, I always forget to update it or feel like I never have enough time to devote to something like this. But then agani, I guess I've always created these things trying to cater to an audiance of some kind and this time I'm going to try to focus more on me and if anyone stumbles across this or my friends decide to check it out then thats cool. But mostly its going to be an outlet for me and my brain and my need to compartmentalize my different thoughts in a clear way without a million notebooks... and on the bonus side i'ts pretty and I get to customize it with coding.
This page is titled Obrevion and it's my "Lair" so to speak. It's going to be the landing page for my site as a whole. Xaphe is my online persona I use in any roleplay, D&D or online gaming I do, sometimes I will also use Rae. Obrevion was a randomly generated name in a cell phone game I played once and I just liked it so much I use it now whenever I have to name a place. Everything is "Under Construction" at the moment and is a continuing work in progress. I have so many ideas for how I'd like to lay this out, "Archive" will be my blog and link to the different topics I am interested in talking about. Some may have more than others, I'm not really sure where I am going to go with all of this. "Literature" will be all about books because i am a book dragon. I want to track what I have and what i'm planning to get, review for books I have read... I'm sure there will be more but thats about all I have for now. "Compositions" will be all my writings, I use to write poetry so if I can find those I will type them up there, also new poems will be there, and story ideas/or short writings.
I am both excited and wary about posting so much online because I'm pretty paranoid as a whole... what if I post an idea for a book and someone else takes it and writes something and makes money off of it? I want to sit down and actually get something out that I wrote but I don't know how easy/hard it is to publish stuff online without loosing your rights to it. Thats a whole legality thing I will still have to look into. If i ever even get around to posting anything like that. But and thats asuming my ideas are any good at all and worth taking. I think they are great but also like im biased.
Under the "Archives" page, there are 3 setups so far, one for "My Goblin" still depating on if im keeping that name or not, which is basically about my parenting journey. I am also super wary about posting too much of my daughter online so its unlikely there will be any pics, and things may be vague and general but it will hopefully be an outlet of sorts. Then there is one "Aestetics" for just the things in life I think are visually pleasing. Fashion, decor, cooking... I might break that up into further subsections because thats just how my brain kind of works but also it can get very convoluted very quickly. And then there is one called "Psychosis" which i will also probably re-name but its going to be all about my mental health wins and struggles... probably more struggles than not.
Some other things I want to potentially add are hobbies, music, a food specific section, maybe a games area... I don't know there are so many different ways to go here and endless possibilites.
Anyways, here's to attempt three thousand or so. Here's hopeing I can find what I need to make this one stick.
